| | 03/21/2006 6:45 PM | Alert | Hi Chris
First of all I would like to thank you by the name of all of our portal administrators for contributing to the site with your great modules.
You modules will be soon installed, and I am starting to implement the stages of the "DotNetNuke Developers Module/Skin Showcase"
I need you to tell me on which steps to start. I might need your help, like texts and information on some of the steps.
The opportonities for module developers, as you can see from the above page are :
1. A showcase page in the DotNetNuke-Portal.com under Resources-->Module Showcase, and the ability for the module's creator to admin these modules and edit a Text/HTML that explains about the module. Press Here For Example 2. A full news article with all the info about the new module and where to buy it. Portal administrators can leave comments to it. Press Here For Example 3. A newsletter will be sent to all DotNetNuke-Portal.com users telling them to try the new module. 4. Being listed in the Modules List on the Home Page of DotNetNuke-Portal.com 5. Modules will have a special thread in the modules forum that will be made for answering questions and that will be answered by the module's creator . 6. Banner exchange - the module's creator can create a "powered by" banner in the size of 468x60 to be placed on inner portals created by www.DotNetNuke-Portal.com that uses a skin that supports banner ads. In exchange a banner of www.DotNetNuke-Portal.com will be put on the module's creator web site, saying that his modules are being used by us. 7. On some cases (like a big module's contribution to us), we will run a special month for the module's creator with a special competition. The portal that will make the best use with one of the module's creator modules will be a full month of Premium Platinum Portal Plan for the following month. The judge on the competition will be the module's creator. Portal administrators will be able to get help and ask questions using the Module Forum. 8. We will encourage the module's creator to give a special discount for users that had experienced with the modules through www.DotNetNuke-Portal.com and decided to purchase them. (They will have to show the module's creator a link with a site that was built on this system and that uses the modules). 9. A survey can be run on www.DotNetNuke-Portal.com after a month of using the module to check the opinion of the portal administrators about it. 10. The module's creator that will participate on the special month, will be shown on the Module's Creators Special Months page with his banner and link to his site. Lior

| | 03/23/2006 1:30 AM | Delete Edit Quote Reply Alert | I have created 2 new showcases for sigmapro draconis and for the help desk. You will be able to see them after you login under the Modules Showcase menu. Please set up the modules forthe showcase and enter relevant texts. To tell you the truth, I am really confused about the versions - I dont understand what is the draconis version, the help desk etc. I searched in Snowcovered and saw different version of the prosucts with different prices. Can you please explain it all to me. I need you to also look at the article I published and see if I took the right stuff (I wrote about the Help Desk module, and suddenly I see the text is also about Draconis, so what is what ?) Thanks Lior

Details on SigmaPro are located Here
Also... check your email as I'm sending you version 5.0 now.
SigmaPro Draconis is the core product, SigmaPro Help Desk is an add-on that ties into SigmaPro Draconis and provides a quick interface for those who use SigmaPro for Help Desks. You can use SigmaPro Draconis for Help Desks alone, but the add-on makes the setup easy.
SigmaPro can be used for Projects, Help Desk, CRM, Document Review, etc. | | | | Chris Onyak Posts:5

Right now, your using a Beta version of SigmaPro 5.0 and it contains many bugs. | | | | SuperUser Account Posts:61

I will update the texts on the showcases later on today and I hope we can publish it by tommorow (When you will be done with settings up the modules). | | | | Chris Onyak Posts:5
| | 03/25/2006 2:21 AM | Delete Edit Quote Reply Alert | Let's wait for H2O 2.0 (it's a much better product and far beyond anything done with DNN to this point). The current Help Desk version you have works with SigmaPro 5.0, so we don't need that updated.
I'm finishing up the configurations for SigmaPro now. | | | | SuperUser Account Posts:61
| | 03/25/2006 3:23 AM | Delete Edit Quote Reply Alert | I need texts for the Help Desk - They talk about sigma pro 4. Even though I gave you permissions on the text boxes please dont change it your self. I had to fix now the text in the Draconis page - I put much attention to the layout of the text and it was all ruined. The links on the bottom of the page where deleted as well. Just give me a link to the Help Desk text and I will do the update. | | | | SuperUser Account Posts:61

I tried to use Portal Stat, but what ever I did I couldnt see the graph - all the time a broken image. 3. I still cant use portal atat admin, after I upload and try to use the module I get an error (The error I sent to you). 4. I want to put your logo on the hompage under a section of module creators that have donated to this site. Please attach your logo. 5. I am still waiting for the Help Desk text. | | 03/29/2006 4:49 PM | Alert | I want to run an Onyak Module Competition during April so you will get the feedback you wanted from Administrators. For the configuration files, make sure you have installed the latest verison of SigmaPro 5.0. You may be running a Beta (which had problems with the configuration file). Let me know what version you are currently using and I'll send you an update. Although, it could be firefox as well but I think it's the production version since this has never been reported.

| | 03/30/2006 1:55 AM | Alert | I run version 5.00.10 I need a small logo to be placed on the right column, this logo is too big. I saw a logo on a site that you contributed to, I think it was DotNetNuke Huoston or 24dnn.com The link you put here is for the module itself, I need the texts that describes this module to put on the showcase.

| | 04/05/2006 5:21 PM | Alert | | Ok, it's all set. You will want to go in and edit the project to change the Status, Priority, etc. to fit your needs. Also, log in as Host, open a ticket and then check the fields (you will see a checkbox next to each field) you want your users to be able to change. Click Save and your done. I set SigmaPro to not show the custom fields, wasn't sure if you needed them or not. Plus... I need to get you a new version so that you can remove the old ones. (bug) If you want to setup an instance of SigmaPro just as a knowledge Base, there is a configuration script you can download from the Repository on www.OnyakTech.com. To install the script, click Edit SigmaPro and at the bottom of the screen you will see an area where you can upload the config file. Once uploaded, the module is automatically changed to the settings in the file. So only use it on an instance of SigmaPro you want to use just as a knowledge base (at least until you get to know the module). | | | |

| | 04/05/2006 5:29 PM | Alert | | Right now I need an alternative to my Help Desk. A knowledgebase is a good idea but for a later time. I need only subscribers to be abe to open tickets but everyone to be able to see the tickets. | | | |

I excpect from you to do the same and give www.DotNetNuke-Portal.com the proper exposure as I gave you - Put it whenever place you put logos of outside companies and write about it in your newsletter. H20 will soon have a showcase. Have you configures draconis to be used as a Help Desk ?

| | 04/10/2006 6:16 AM | Alert | On the Help Desk Showcase page there is a SigmaPro Help Desk module. I still don't understand what is the difference between the Draconis module and the Help Desk module - both of them are needed ? You said that the Draconis module can be used as an Help Desk, so why does the SigmaPro Help Desk module is needed ? What are the differences ?

| | 04/10/2006 10:05 AM | Alert | I will download the most recent version of Help Desk and other modules from your site and install here.
I want you to see something - I am inviting you for some site that gives free photo space (You will get it by mail soon). I just got it from a friend. They got some cool feature that might be a cool idea for a module. For each user you invite to join and create a portal you get an extra 100mb for your hosting space. They do it graphically really nice. You can think of adding such a feature to your portal creation bundle.
